Greetings from the director

Thanks for your interest and a warm welcome for visiting the website of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The exact inspiration for establishing a separate government mental health institute in Bangladesh was to ensure proper mental health care of the population by service delivery, training and manpower development, research and policy development. The NIMH, Dhaka has been trying to do its duties with utmost efforts till now. We thank every other governmental and non-governmental organization for their help in this journey. We also hope to work together for a mentally healthy Bangladesh in the future.
